We are delighted to announce that we will be welcoming a new Assistant Pastor to York Elim in the autumn.
Joshua Daniel is a Minister in Training. An accomplished musician and experienced Youth Pastor, Josh will come alongside Paul to help with the day-to-day running of the church. His main emphasis will be establishing new a youth programme that will prepare our young people for the future.
Getting to Know Josh
We thought we’d let you get to know Josh a bit better before he arrives. Here’s a little Q&A…
First things first, he said hello to the church!
“Hi all, my name is Josh and I’m currently an MIT pursuing God’s call for me. I love serving the church and getting to know new people. I have a heart for worship and long to see our young people find hope in Jesus. I look forward to this next season in York and getting to know you all!”
What are you most excited about starting at York Elim?
“Making new friends, serving the youth and exploring the city.”
What is God doing in your life right now?
“I feel that He is leading me into a new season of growth and renewed purpose.”
What’s your favourite way to spend your spare time?
“Making, writing and producing music.”
Which bible verse means a lot to you and why?
“It’s John 4:23 which reads: ‘Jesus answered him, ‘If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.’ This verse reminds me how incredible our relationship with God is. He wants to make His home with me!
We look forward to welcoming Josh and seeing what God will do through him in this new season!
