Get to know… the student worker!

Hi, I’m Suze and I work with the students and youth at York Elim.
I studied Sociology at The University of York 2007-2010, during which I was a member here at Elim and the Female President of the Christian Union. My time at university has left me passionate to see students contributing to churches, churches supporting students and Christians impacting the lives of their fellow students. I am very excited about the opportunity that I have to put these 3 values into practice at a welcoming, vibrant and Christ-centered church.

Get to know… each other
We’ve got loads of students, past and present, here at York Elim so come down and we’d love to get to know you.
An easy way to get to know people is by coming along to student lunch after church each Sunday! We either grab something at the Black Bull pub, or get fed by a church member at their house. Some weeks, we even have lunch together as a whole church which is really fun! Sharing lunch together is a great way to not only meet other students, but to also make friends with other members of the congregation! You can also get to know other students by joining a huddle or by serving on a team.
