Youth

Welcome to E100

Welcome to E100 – the Essential 100 readings from the bible. We’re going to read them together, think about what they mean and then reflect upon how they affect us and our walk with God. I do hope you’ll join us as we journey together through the bible – it will be stretching but because we’re all in this together it’ll be a lot of fun and will be something that brings us together too!

It would be really add to the experience if each of us could add our comments and reflections to each post – you can do this by clicking on the word “comment” or “comments” above and then scrolling to the bottom of the post where you can add your comment.

York Elim Recruiting New Youth Worker

York Elim is recruiting a new part-time Youth Worker.

We are looking for a person who cares about the young people in our community and in our church. Someone with a lively faith in Jesus Christ and a sense of enjoying doing the work God has called them into.

The new youth worker will be starting their ministry among us at an exciting time. Over the past ten years, our church has experienced transformation from a small city centre congregation, to a vibrant centre of teaching and worship, serving all ages and about 20 nationalities, including a large number of uni students.

We have recently acquired a suite of offices and meeting rooms close to the city centre, these form a base for midweek activities including youth work.

Closing date for applications is Thursday 30th April 2009.

Download Job description for more information on the post and how to apply.
